Google has published a case study on the groundbreaking work being done in Highland Council working towards a 1:1 Chromebook model for every P6 - S6 pupil. This is the first case study to be published from Google for any school/authority in Scotland.
The report was written a few months ago and since then there has been significant developments in terms of active users and amount of devices across the authority.

In Highland we are embracing digital technology to enhance learning and teaching. Our Chromebook rollout for every pupil from P6 - S6 is due to start August 2017 and we are working on a strategy to get schools ready for this. Many schools are already up and running and I aim to share as much of their good practice as possible.
For information about our pilot and how schools progressed through their journey you can visit the info section here of check out the pilot blog here.
This is an incredibly exciting time for learning in Highland and I would like to thank Louise Jones and Andy Robb and everyone else involved for getting us to where we are today.
Moving forward, please get in contact with Stephen Stewart or Andy Robb for any advice or information to get started using G Suite for Education.
